Rare guest that brings good luck
We had a rare guest at the Osato Research Institute in the very cold morning on January 25.
The surprising guest was an owl!!
On the bell to the side of entrance door, it was resting with a look of relief as if it had been a sleep.
It may have descended from the mountain due to the influence of a wave of cold weather that brought heavy snow across the country, especially to the areas along the Sea of Japan.
An owl is a symbol for goddess of wisdom in the west and considered to be a bird that brings good luck in Japan. It was such an unexpected pleasant visit for us!
