FPP's Research Report Appears in September 2020 issue of
"BIO Clinica"

In the medical journal "BIO Clinica Vol.35 No.10 SEP. 2020 - Addressing Super Aging Society", appeared a research report "Ameliorating effect of FPP on oxidative stress and energy metabolism; Possibility of FPP for prevention of Alzheimer's disease and dementia" written by Dr. Sachiko Okuda, the Deputy Director of Osato Research Institute and Dr. Makiko Osato, the ORI Researcher.

"BIO Clinica" is a medical academic journal of which chief editors are Professor Tasuku Honjo of Kyoto University, Nobel laureate in Physiology or Medicine, and Professor Kiyoshi Kurokawa of National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies.

We had been requested to write a research report on FPP's effect on Dementia in BIO Clinica Vol.35 No.4 APR. 2020 - Progress of treatment and research on dementia" before, which brought us an opportunity to be requested to write a report again for the September issue of this magazine.
Brain tissue is particularly susceptible to oxidative stress. Increased production of reactive oxygen species, reduced antioxidant systems, and decreased efficiency in repairing mechanisms have been linked to Alzheimer's disease.
This report was written about the possible ameliorating effect of FPP on oxidative stress in the brain and energy metabolism for prevention of dementia, based on the FPP's clinical research on oxidative stress of Alzheimer patients by Prof. Mario Barbagallo of Palermo University as well as other clinical evidences in a wide variety of area.
