The Spring Rain brings hundreds of cereal grasses to life.
April 20th is the beginning of "Kokuu" which is the 6th out of the 24 solar terms in the traditional East Asian calendars. "Kokuu" means the rain helping cereal grasses to grow. During this "Kokuu" term, the rice fields around the Osato Research Institute are filled with water and ready for rice planting. And at this time, we can see dabbling ducks floating in the rice fields. They seem to enjoy precious spring time. The fresh greenery of the roses makes quite a good contrast with the joyful ducks.
