Northern Japanese Hemlock (Kometsuga) has begun to bear cone.
Northern Japanese Hemlock (Kometsuga) is a genus of conifers in the pinaceous family, growing at an altitude of 600 to 2,750 meters. Although we at ORI are located only 36 meters high above the seal level, it has grown up to be big and strong with many cones now.
We hope that our efforts towards taking a good care of it every day have been realized.
