The mission of the American Aging Association (AGE) is to promote biomedical aging studies directed towards increasing the functional life span of humans with one goal being to slow the aging process. It is also to keep the public informed of the progress of aging research and of practical means of achieving a long and healthy life. It is furthermore to increase knowledge of biogerontology among physicians and others in the health fields.

Osato research Institute (ORI) had the opportunity to present our clinical studies conducted for the same purpose: helping individuals to live and age in good health.

Dr. Pierre Mantello had the opportunity to meet with Prof. Christiaan Leeuwenburgh, who conducted a study on the effects of FPP on the elderly population and had a fruitful discussion on our future research collaboration. Professor and Chief of the Division of Biology of Aging at the Institute on Aging at the University of Florida, Prof. Leeuwenburgh is a board member of the American Aging Association.
