Something auspicious left behind
We are working cooperatively with Ono-town for the project to make efficient use of the idle farmland in Ono-town as vineyard again this year.
From February 25th to 28th,we bulldozed the land and drove stakes to expand vineyard.
On March 11th and 14th, we set out about 320 plants of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Finally on March 18th and 19th, we covered the land around the plant with crushed limestone and put wire between the stakes to complete the new vineyard.
In this new vine yard, we found something unique left behind by a deer.
It is said that deer horn is shed and regrown sometime around April with the approach of warm weather. It was such auspicious gift from a deer!!!
We feel it's a good sign for the start of the new vineyard.
